Choose idb if you want to work with IndexedDB's own concepts (object stores, indexes, transactions, cursors) with promises and nothing hidden from you.
Choose Strata Storage if you don't want to think in IndexedDB terms at all, and the value also has to reach a cookie, the URL, the Keychain or preferences through the same key-value call.
